For an enterprise having decided for implementing annuity, the first step is to formulate an occupational annuity scheme, i.e. to formulate a reasonable, feasible (after a full consideration to internal distribution, financial capability, and employee demands) occupational annuity scheme in combination with the occupational annuity policies and the enterprise¡¯s conditions. After having done so, to submit the scheme to the local labor and social security authority after it is discussed and adopted by the workers¡¯ representative assembly.
The second step is to select an eligible trustee after the filing is accepted, and to sign a trustee management contract. The trustee then selects a custodian, an account manager and an investment manager and sign contracts with them, respectively.
From this point on an enterprise may start the actual operation of plan building according to one of the following two processes:
• The principal submits the occupational annuity plan information, the corporate account information and the individual account information to the trustee, and then submits them to the account manager after verification.
• Or, the principal submits the corporate account information and the individual account information to the account manager entrusted by the trustee, and then the account manager examines authenticity, validity and integrity of the submitted information, and notifies the trustee without default after verification.
In the end, the account manager builds one independent corporate as well as individual accounts for the occupational annuity fund, and timely records plan information, corporate account information and individual accounts¡¯ information.
