On December 10th, 2008, ¡°the EA contract signing ceremony of AstraZeneca, Taiping Pension and China Communication Bank¡± was held in Changjiang Club, Wuxi New District. The leaders of Wuxi city and directors of all three parties attended the ceremony.
AstraZeneca is one of Global 500 Fortune as well as one of top ten global pharmacy enterprises. AstraZeneca Pharmacy Co., Ltd is the group¡¯s biggest manufacture company in Asia. Even under the background of global finance depression, the group had invested extra 50 million for the company. Furthermore, AstraZeneca not only paid attention on its business development but also its social responsibility; it is the first company who implements EA scheme for its employees¡¯ retired lives in Wuxi.
Seven finance institutions with EA management qualification had taken part in the bidding for the Trustee of AstraZeneca¡¯s EA Scheme, and Taiping Pension finally won the competition. This winning owe to the full support from Taiping Pension¡¯s parent company and all branches, especially its International business Dept., the team of which had make great efforts on it.
