General Manager

Mr. Yang Fan, holds a master¡¯s degree in finance, a master¡¯s degree in insurance and risk management from England, CII. He¡¯s a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute, and in his career acted, among others, as Section Chief of the People¡¯s Insurance Company of China, of the China Insurance Regulatory Committee and the Secretariat of the General Office of the State Council. Besides he acts as Vice President of the China Insurance (European) Holdings Co., Ltd. and as General Manager of Board of Directors/ President Office of China Insurance Group in succession. Mr. Yang Fan is familiar with macroeconomic management and insurance business management as much as he is an experienced expert in any questions concerned with insurances and management.

Vice presidents

Mr. Wang Lianwen, he holds a doctor¡¯s degree of economy and before coming to Taiping Pension he held the offices of Manager of the Group Insurance Department and Group Insurance Director of one Ping An insurance branch. He is the president of the Group Business Department of Taiping Life Insurance Co., Ltd. and president of the Taiping Life¡¯s branch in Guangdong. Mr. Wang Lianwen is an academic and an expert in financial insurance.

Mr. Li Zongjian holds a doctor¡¯s degree in sociology from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Researchers of the Insurance and Social Security Research Center at the University of Peking University. Before becoming Vice President with Taiping Pension Mr. Li Zongjian held the offices of Section Chief of the Planning Division of the State Committee for Economic Restructuring, President of the Investment Bank Department of the China PICC Trust Investment Company, acted as Chairman of the China Insurance Trust & Futures Brokering Company, was Deputy Secretary-General of the China Association of Young Scientists of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and Vice President of the Investment Management Center of China Re-insurance as well as Secretary-General of the Insurance Institute of China.

Mr. Chen Zhengyang holds a master¡¯s degree in managerial science and is member of ASA and FLMI. Mr. Chen¡¯s main advantages are having rich experience in group insurance marketing, business management, customer service, actuarial mathematics, system development and, in general, comprehensive group insurance business. Furthermore he has a broad and in-depth knowledge of the ¡°occupational annuity¡± practiced in the United States, Canada, Hong Kong, Australia and China.

Mr. Tan Weimin, born in Hongkong, is fulfilling the position of Chief Actuary and is an expert in international pension fund management. The senior member of the FSA among others worked as Chief Actuary of the government of Hong Kong, as Executive Director of the Hong Kong Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes (MPF) Authority he was in charge of formulating the schemes¡¯regulation and related legislation. He is known as the ¡°Father¡± of Hong Kong¡¯s MPF.

Ms. Wang Qihua holds a master¡¯s degree of business administration with a university in Australia and concurrently is fulfilling the position of CFO with Taiping Pension. In her career she occupied the positions of Vice President of the Planning & Financial Department of the Shanghai branch of the PICC and Director and Vice President of the China Insurance Group Securities Holdings Co., Ltd. What¡¯s more, she has 10 years¡¯ experience in financial management, insurance business and securities investment in the international capital market in Hong Kong.

Assistant Presidents

Mr. Lin Zhe, holds an EMBA from the CEIBS. Before starting to work with Taiping Pension he served as President of Taiping Life¡¯s Shanghai¡¯s branch. Mr. Lin through his career is vastly experienced in the insurance industry especially in group insurance.

Mr. Xie Zhong was awarded a bachelor¡¯s degree in managerial science from the University of Peking. In the past he was working with PICC¡¯s Beijing branch, Ping An Insurance¡¯s Beijing and Shenyang branches as well as with Taiping Life¡¯s Beijing branch. He also hold the office of President of Taiping Life¡¯s Beijing branch.
